Welcome to Mindful Nutrition and Wellness.

I’m Jessica Miller, Holistic Health Coach. 

I began my health journey early in my life while exploring various diets as a teenager. But growing up in a culture that emphasized fried foods, sugar, and saturated fat made healthy eating difficult.

Later in life, I started to lose control over what I was eating, using food to manage my stress and anxiety. I became addicted to sugar and could not control my cravings.

By analyzing my cravings, changing my diet, and integrating more mindfulness into my daily life, I have been able to better understand what my body and mind really need.

After having had the privilege of traveling to, and living on, five continents, the impact of food, relationships, and lifestyle on our personal and global well-being is clear.  Seeking greater wellness allows us to better understand ourselves and to connect more deeply with others.

As a former teacher and a leadership coach, education has always been my passion, and supporting others in their individual journeys has been a commitment of mine.  We cannot achieve the energy, love, passion, or success they desire without first turning inward to listen to the needs of our bodies and minds to reach our greatest potential.

Food is not the only way we nourish ourselves, and finding balance is essential to health and happiness.  Choosing a Health Coach is a great step toward achieving your health goals.

It’s rare for anyone to get an hour to work on their nutrition and goals with a trained professional. As a Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that will enable you to achieve all of your health goals. I have studied all of the major dietary theories and use practical lifestyle coaching methods to guide you in discovering which approach works best for you.

No one diet works for everyone. I will guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. I will also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.

  1. Great Blog Jessica, happy to have found you.
    I had to make a lifestyle change years ago when a naturopath I went to see discovered my wheat intolerance. But i’ve always been a healthy foodie. Because of my love of food I became a food blogger/photographer, but lately have been thinking about formal training as i have a real passion for health and nutrition in the holistic way. It might be too late though. How many years of study did it take you?
