Healthy living doesn’t have to be difficult.  We are busy and there are so many more convenient, processed temptations to save time. For me, cooking calms me and helps me to appreciate the access I have to fresh, whole foods and it helps me to be mindful about how I am nourishing my body.

Keep it simple: I believe that eating whole foods is fundamental to overall health.  The closer a food is to its original state, the better it is for you.  Foods without barcodes are the best! I try to keep my refrigerator and pantry stocked with a lot of staples so that I can try any recipe at almost any time!
